If your employee is no longer exempt from a tax, here's how you can turn on these taxes on:
- Go to the Employees tab.
- Select the Employee
- On the Taxes & Exemptions section, click Edit
- If this employee is no longer exempt from Federal and/or State income tax withholding, choose the appropriate Federal and/or State Filing Status (Single, Married, Married but withhold at higher single rate).
- In the Exemptions section, click Edit.
- Deselect the taxes the employee is no longer exempt from.
- Click Save.
- Click OK.
